Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

I love “sayings,” especially fun ones. One of my favorite is “Lord, I need patience and I need it NOW!”
This is a daily struggle for me, the learning of patience- and it is a learned skill, not just a virtue. Too many times I want to get something or get something done as fast as I can, a leftover from my childhood. Needless to say, God has a GREAT plan for my life. I just need to calm down and wait.
