Many years ago I heard of the theory that all speech, even every sound, regardless of how slight, bounces its way up and out of the atmosphere into the “void” of space.
Even if the idea that our spoken words make their way beyond the stratosphere seems too far fetched to believe, it cannot be denied that the vibrations caused by our speech permeate our bodies, that others around us feel them as well, and that even if one is unable to speak that the slightest “joyful noise” will be felt.
