Luke 16:10 “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.”
Have you ever had someone, a close friend—a BEST friend-- someone who you enjoyed activities with, who you broke bread with, and, who you enjoyed gossiping about others with?
I have. Until one fine day when I began to wonder if they talked about me to others. Then it got even worse. I wondered if they wondered the same about me! At that point I asked God for forgiveness, and to help me not to ever gossip again. I have faltered from time to time, however. I am still a human, after all.
But my heart breaks whenever I do. Why? Gossiping is destroying someone in an ambush, someone that likely trusts you in some way.
It is my goal to be “faithful also in much.”
