Proverbs 5:3-5 “For the lips of an immoral woman drip honey, and her mouth is smoother than oil; but in the end she is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edge sword. Her feet go down to death, her steps lay hold on hell.”
The trap here is obvious. The “mouse” in this case is not only men, but the virtue of mankind. The “trap,” the “lips of an immoral woman,” are not only the obvious, but are also the tools Satan will use to divert our attention away from God.
Father, help me to always remember that Jesus died on the cross to break the bonds of the devil and death, and that Your will for me is so much better than I could imagine for myself. In Jesus name, Amen.
